Description
the little twins again. hand-tinted in the darkroom (well, in a room next to the darkroom)... NOT PHOTOSHOP. its not a great scan, so I am sorry...but grain is lovely. overexposure is necessary, because I said so.I am going to reprint it without the highlightoverexposure and then tint that print....but for now this is dandy.
the beauty of this is that the actual print is the EAXCT color of the twins' eyes. exact color. not as good on a computer screen...but the real print...yuh huh.
I took this awhile ago, but never got around to printing it till now.
print available 5x5 to 8x8.

I fell in love with the title
The somehow troubled and pleading look in their eyes makes me think of children who escape the reality in their own fantasy world. Love the strong presence and intensity of their stare.
The tight cropping makes it feel pressing, as if they're asking for somebody to take them away from their current state.
And none of these feelings are negative, they just make the shot as brilliant and effective as it is. Grain and overexposure looks good too, gives this the feeling of an old photo.
Lovely

I stumbled on this shearly by accident, but i'm glad i did. Those eyes say a million words. It reminds me of my most recent trip to S.E. Asia (with the marking under the eyes, but who knows, they could be some football fans from the States or something.. .)Though i am curious where this shot was taken at.

Gives me a feel of "children who fight for revolution, but are scared of it".
Very much expression in this one.
