Who don't know Alex kidd?This game is a great classic of videogames (in my opinion), when i was so young, with 6 years or 7, i used to play a lot with my first videogame; it was sega Master system.
I have good memories about this game... so... i decided to do a mockup remake and i'll do more about other levels.

Pues eso... que quién no conoce a Alex kidd?
Este juego es un gran clásico bajo mi punto de vista... Antes, cuando tenía unos 6 o 7 años, jugaba un montón a la master system de sega, que fue mi primera videoconsola.
Tengo buenos recuerdos acerca de este juego, por esa razón he hecho este remake de un mockup del juego y más adelante haré más sobre otras pantallas. Espero que os guste

Brutal! pero tu crees que la master system hubiera movido graficos tan detallados?
Yo creo que es posible pero yendo un pelin lenta... creo que un sprite del tamaño de alex kidd quizás era lo maximo que se podia permitir la master sin ralentizarse.
Aunque viendo shadow dancer y los pedazo de graficos que le pusieron no me extrañaria... que lastima no saber programar en mi caso para master.

En serio? ^^ pues si es tan bueno como el original pero con el lavado de cara de las imágenes... estáis haciendo un magnífico trabajo. Ay... la gente como vosotros debería trabajar en SEGA

De hecho, la imagen que ves tiene ya 4 años. Lo que estoy rehaciendo en la actualidad, es (o espero) bastante mejor que lo que se ve ahí en el mockup. Además, el programador e ilustrador, son unos cracks.
Por desgracia, sega no es lo que era, y para más inri, Alex kidd es un personaje que han dejado casi totalmente de lado. Es una lástima... Pero esperemos que esto pueda reavivar un poco la esencia y la nostalgia respecto a este personaje.
Todavía falta mucho por hacer, recién empezamos hace nada

Ya te digo... me podría definir como nintendero, pero mis andanzas en el mundo de los videojuegos empezaron en la MasterSystem2 de mi hermana... así que le tengo un especial cariño a Alex Kidd, aunque sí que es cierto que aunque le hayan dejado de lado... los juegos posteriores no llegaron a la calidad del original.

Looks almost like Gameboy Advance or DS graphics. Maybe Sega should make a new Alex Kidd game on the DS instead of limiting him to cameos.

Remember the ghosts? Damn, back them they scared me good. And since they couldn't be killed, I just had to memorize where they were and avoided the blocks.

My god. I played this when I was...3.
This is what triggered my obsession with all things video and gamey. I hated those damn pterodactyl things, swear they were just out to get me xD. I distinctly remember at the end of that level you had to swim under water and pass an octopus of some sort. And there was a burger.

it's cool.... but you made it... not 8-bit D: that was (and still is) one of the most appealing features of that game to me..
and his fist isnt ridiculously large ><
