What type of illustration board do you use? A particular brand or anything?

Fantastic work sir. I like the changes you made from the original. Losing the cap and the design of the swimsuit was a good call.

there are a few changes compared to the reference photo. aside from the swimsuit, i use her head from another of her photos where the angle was just a tiny bit different. there's not much of a change if you look at both photos, but i thought the smile and angle would work better. I can get really picky when it comes to the paintings

I like you went with a simpler bathing suit. It's not as busy. Beautiful work!

thank you very much. I thought the simpler suit would work a bit better. I also wanted to repeat the shape of her legs within the design on the suit.

Fantastic work as always mate! Cute model too
Tbh I probably prefer the original swimsuit design in the photo, although that's just a matter of personal taste... Keep up the fine work mate!

thanks. i thought the original suit with the stripes was a bit harsh, it stopped the flow of the figure at the chest with the change of the stripes to horizontal. I repeated the v shape of her legs on to her suit to tie the two together and let the piece flow more pleasantly.

Hmmm good point mate. I agree that it's a better choice for your pin up! Definitely has a nicer flow I am just a sucker for blue and white stripes that's all!
