you're right , I do like this one too. the first is still my favorite tho. it's more implied, whereas in this one you can actually see that he's caught a fish.

Exquisitely beautiful shot. It must have taken precise timing to get such a magnificent phtograph. Good timing for the eagle too! I am also significantly impressed that you know the name of the type of fish it has caught.

Did you know bald eagles do not become white on the tops of their heads until they are from 2-5 years old? Until then they're considered 'teenagers' and allowed to wander into other eagles territories to learn their way around.

Thanks for sharing this photograph--it's quite the treasure.
