another convention sketch.this time of one of my favourite characters.
me likes galvatron, but only the galvatron voiced by nimoy. i think it was the best.

Nimoy Galvatron was fantastic, but this should be his canon design, it just looks so much better with all the points and realigned plates.

You and I agree on one thing. Nimoy was the best Galvatron voice. Much more evil sounding than Frank Welker (no offense to Mr. Welker, he does his job well). But Galvatron's supposed to be one big, scary, badass villain..having a rather high-sounding raspy voice kinda kills that

I gotta agree that Nimoy voicing Galvatron was the best pairing possible. It helps that in the movie he could kill of Starscream and nearly killed off Ultra Magnus if memory serves. That really helped sell it for me.

I would probably say something else once in a while to, but I lack the skills to say make a detailed comment =_= which I find very annoying about myself...I will admit the last comment was made under the means of overtiredness...now my head's about to crash on the keyboard.
But you really do, do stunning work and I always find it a great pleasure to see more of it ^_^

I understand and agree that Frank Welker is a great voice actor and he's done a great job with many transformers...but when Nimoy did Galvatron in the movie, that MADE the character. Just like Robert Stack MADE Ultra Magnus.

I agree, Galvatron with nimoy's voice was great. <3 He's a really good design too.
I work in children's games and all the girl stuff is pink and purple. I can't put purple on the boy's stuff. I'm all like "The decepticons had lots of purple guys!" but no one listens. :<

Same here! I'm still in awe every time I watch the movie on DVD, ESPECIALLY after he vaporizes Starscream and utters his best quoted line: "Will ANYONE ELSE attempt to fill his shoes?"
