Description

Takeshi Hongo (本郷猛, Hongō Takeshi) is the main protagonist of the 2023 film, Shin Kamen Rider . He is a brilliant young man who was kidnapped and upgraded by SHOCKER through their augmentation, converting him into Batta Augment-01 (第１バッタオーグ, Dai Ichi Batta Ōgu). Takeshi escaped and pledged to fight against SHOCKER to ensure human beings stay human, as the Kamen Rider (仮面ライダー, Kamen Raidā).[2] [3] [4]
After Hongo lost his life against Ichiro Midorikawa, his Prana existed in his helmet. Together with Hayato Ichimonji , they both continue their crusade against Shocker as Kamen Rider No. 2+1 (仮面ライダー第2+1号, Kamen Raidā Dai Ni Purasu Ichi-gō).
