I love the coloration on this. Circle shape makes it very pleasing to the eyes too. I can't tell if those are horns, or bat ears...OOooo bat ears? how interesting for a concept~~~

They are indeed bat ears. Good eye, Nakase. They're suppose to be the dragon equivalent of flying foxes, thus the neckmane.

I have to say, this is one of my favorite dragons you've done- Namely because of the colors. I just love the subtle shift from yellow to green, as well as the contrast of the orangey-red.

Thank you! I think it's getting a lot of positive responses, so I suspect other people like it a lot too. 8D It's kind of overwhelming, really. Ironically, I prefer other sprites I've made recently, but I seem to be the minority opinion! X3

Psh, isn't that how it always works? I love most of, if not all the sprites you've done. This one I truthfully only enjoy the colors a lot. The design isn't quite as fantastic as some others you've done, but the colors are lovely~

I didn't pick the colors by hand. Actually, I shaded this whole beast in paint, then layered it over with a flat of the three main body colors in gimp. It turned out different than what I usually make. X3
