maybe..and I hoped they were, I noticed that she-cats which are the leader or deputy usually don't have mates,
at least they can't have kits during that period of time, I guess that was why it wasn't obvious for them to be together.
It's hard to explain, maybe it's just my hope.

Leafstar was the elected leader of skyclan. She fell in love with another cat, Billystorm- a warrior who went home to twolegs at night. She stepped down until her kits were able to be apprentices.
If she can do that, why couldn't RussetxBlack happen?
