Description So, a while ago I had a crazy and amazing idea: Brave Little Toaster theme park! This map is the result of hours of fevered speculation and imagination.
Rides & Attractions, In Number Order:
1. The Cottage- I haven't exactly decided what this will be, other than some sort of walkthrough ride. In Halloween season it'll transform into a walkthrough of Toaster's nightmare.
2. Swivel Chair Spin- Outdoor roller coaster like the Slinky Dog Dash, except the coaster cars can swivel around to show you the views a la Cosmic Rewind.
3. The ToasterCoaster- Ride bread-styled coaster trains through a representation of both Toaster's actual inner workings and their memories of the journey.
4. [Name Not Decided]- Some kind of show involving the Singing Fish, haven't decided the specifics yet. Part of the Nature area (see below).
5. Radio's Rockin' Ride- A Radio-ified version of the Rockin' Roller Coaster or the Rip Ride Rockit. A wop bobalubap, A WOP BAM BUM!
Nature Area: Representative of the first part of Toaster & Co's journey. (Ride #4 is also part of this.)
6. Into The Storm- Suspended dark ride. Be swept away by the wind with Blanky before riding a lightning bolt back down to the ground- the very same bolt that strikes Lampy. Not for those with fear of heights.
7. [Name Not Decided]- Splash Mountain-esque water ride. Watch a scene of Blanky's rescue before being swept over the waterfall as Toaster fails to hold the cord.
8. The It's A B-Movie Ride- Haunted Mansion-esque dark ride set in the Parts Shop's "cellar down below". Contains many references to b-movies, for example a disembodied vacuum head attached to tubes and wires that intones "Let me die" in the manner of Jan In The Pan.
City Of Light: The park's second major area, home to most of the gift shops. We'll be coming back here for the nighttimeΒ spectacular, and possibly more attractions that I add later (since right now it only has 2 plus the spectacular)
9. Streetlamp Animatronic- Animatronic streetlamp (the one that Toaster & Co asked for directions) controlled by a park worker nearby, so it can actually react to things.
10. Cutting Edge Tower Drop- Tower Of Terror-esque elevator ride where you drop in to various scenes of the CE appliances mocking and humiliating the Main 5 in a randomized sequence. A variant of "Cutting Edge" is played by the elevator speakers, with short verses that sound good in any order (each verse corresponds to a scene). At the end of the ride, the elevator rises all the way up to the top of the "skyscraper" before sending you plummeting down to the ground. Then the doors open and let you out into a "dumpster".
Junkyard Mini-Area: The infamous junkyard. It only has two things in it, and that's all it's going to have- no plans for expansion,
11. Meet Ernie The Junkman- Event held several times a day, you get to meet Ernie The Junkman (played by a live actor) and maybe ask him questions about his job.
12. [Name Not Decided]- I haven't really figured out what this one will be like yet. Trackless ride like Rise Of The Resistance, evading the Magnet?
College Campus: The college campus from To The Rescue. 'Nuff said.
13. Tap Into The Inter-Net: Animatronic show where a trio of modern devices (a laptop, a smartphone, and a smart TV) must contend with oddly cowlike relics of a bygone era when everything was beige.
14. Wittgenstein's Virus Vanquishers- Astro-Blasters-like ride where you shoot at viruses while traveling through Witt's inner workings, aided by the "Spirit Of The WFC"- a disembodied voice that sounds an awful lot like Radio.
15. The Rescue- Test Track-esque ride where you're in the appliances' cart, helping them chase down Mack's truck.
16. [Name Not Decided]- Another animatronic show, the animals, um, do something... yeah, I haven't really thought this one out yet.
Now, we move on to another area-less ride:
17. Journey To Mars- Space Mountain-esque coaster, ride in the S.S. Laundry Basket through space. (Devoid of balloons, thank goodness).
Wonderluxe's Mars: You're on Mars now.
18. Viking 1 and the Satellites- "Outdoors" (under an overhang) animatronic show. Viking 1 discusses Mars exploration, rovers and Ingenuity make cameos.
19. [Name Not Decided]- Go inside the Supreme Commander in this frigid boat ride that takes you through the history of the Wonderluxes. Wait time increases in proportion to how hot it is outside.
20. [Name Not Decided]- Little kid's play area, where they mess around with interactive displays of the "Martian Plants" shown through the film.
21. Balloon Gondolas- Like the gondolas at Disneyland, but also like It's A Small World since "Floating" willΒ get stuck in your head.
Balloon Mini-Areas: 3 mini-areas based on where the balloons were before going to space. Ironically, the one based on a throwaway line ("The circuses, fairs, and boardwalks") has the most attractions.
22. Inventions On Display- Animatronic show where all the inventions on display come to life and talk a bit about themselves.
23. Worlds Fair-iss Wheel- A simple Ferris wheel.
24. [Name Not Decided]- Kiddie coaster, a bit like Goofy's Barnstormer.
25. [Name Not Decided]- Something about "Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show"
26. [Name Not Decided]- "Music festival" that plays appliance-themed parodies of Woodstock songs.
We now return to the City Of Light for...
27. The Light Shines Like A Diamond Nighttime Spectacular- An epic, awesome, amazing fireworks show with all of the best songs from the movies and the park.
Now, that would be the last one except I had a genius idea for the College Campus:
28. Barb Brackett Planetarium- Actually a Soarin'-esque ride, holds multiple different shows about the robotic pioneers that traveled through the solar system and, in the Voyager's case, beyond it. (You might recognize the name on the planetarium...)
