Federation Starship USS Cavalieri, NCC 53771

Versatile in its design and mission profile, the Dronmari-Class is favored by all major Starfleet branches and was adopted by each for different purposes. While serving primarily as a mid-range survey and utility vessel in Starfleet's Science and Exploration Division, the vessel has been occasionally assigned patrol duties as part of Strategic and Defense Operations. A specialized series of vessels based on the Dronmari frame was also used by the Research and Development Division as a test-bed for new autonomous control systems and last but not least, an internally modified variant is beginning to see more widespread use as a priority courier and VIP transport for Administrative and Diplomatic missions.
