Description
To maintain control over its vast number of developed systems, the USSR relies on countless patrol boats and sentry vessels. While forming the first defensive line against any incursion from without, they serve also as reminders of the Soviet's continued presence and the authority of the state. In larger operations of the People's Commissariat and the KGB, they may also serve as assets and operational bases for these organizations.
Though one of the smallest pieces in the great machinery of the Soviet Union, they are nonetheless a crucial one, a fact that their commanding officers are often eager to prove.
