Description
(2007-2008): Many years ago, 2 not-so brotherly monsters called Moltor and Flurious fought over the most treasured crown called the Corona Aurora ("crown of the dawn"). A guardian called the Sentinel Knight scattered the jewels it contained so neither Flurious nor Moltor could find them. Presently, archaeologist Andrew Hartford took the crown and accidentally release the 2 monsters. He recruits stunt double Daxter Lo, racecar driver Veronica Robinson, spy Samuel Ashton, and teacher Rosaline Ortiz to become Rangers.

Andy was going be Overdrive Red until his son Mackenzie came in. He also gave the Rangers superpowers. Rosaline camoflauges, Veronica has superspeed, Daxter super leaps, and Samuel has telescopic vision. When Andrew was attacked, Mack grabs the the morpher to become the Red Ranger. As lava got into the city, Mack and Sam got the citizens to safety while the others try to stop a volcano from erupting. Samuel used his hammer to crack the road and send the lava underground. The Rangers succeed but Hartford took away Mack's morpher and locked in a vault.

Noticing Mackenzie's depression, his butler Spencer told him that Andy didn't want Mack to help because he wanted to protect his son. Moltor suddenly comes in the mansion and took Andrew and the crown. Spencer told the Rangers what happened, but Mack doesn't have his device. Samuel figured out how to open the safe. Moltor and Flurious asked Hartford to work for them, but he refused. Moltor to Hartford to a cave and pushed down to a lava pit, but Daxter slid just in time to save him. Mackenzie's accepts his father's decision of not being a Ranger, but Andrew lets him keep it because he realizes that Mack can make his own decisions. He get gets his superpower, which was super strength.

The Rangers found a cocoon in a cave from Atlantis, which contains a scroll. The drawing contains a picture of Neptune's sword. To get it, they must find 2 more scrolls. They head another mansion to find the scrolls, but security guards stopped them. A woman, who is Spencer in disguise, settled the matter and gave the Rangers 2 scrolls.

Daxter met a girl he fell in loved with called Mira. As they fought a monster, the Rangers had a choice between turning the scrolls over or else Mira gets killed. They gave up the scrolls. However, Daxter saw Mira's true colors when she stole a scroll. She turned out to be a villian working for Kamdor, who is imprisoned in her necklace. Kamdor helped Mira out of a bad situation. For his troubles, he was contained in a crystal. Since then, Mira was determine to release him. She tried to summon a power with a scroll, but the scroll she took was fake. Spencer gave them the real one. They have all 3 scrolls, but no jewel was found.

The sword pointed them to St. Lucia in the Caribbean Island. There, they dug up treasure of a ghostly pirate. They got a pearl for the crown. Sam double-crossed the team. Andrew revealed that Sam pretended to betray the Rangers to get find an exotic bird. Mira found an exotic bird with a note, only she can't read it.

Moltor orders an alien named Tyzonn to get the note. The rangers tried figure out the note, some monsters ambush them. Mack and Ty fought over the note, but Mack rips a piece off. Mack sees the good in Ty. Tyzonn tried to get citizens to safety. Mack saw Ty at a forest. He asked Ty to give the map, but he refuses. Ty tells Moltor that the deal is off. Moltor battles Ty, but the Ranger came to join the battle. Mack and Ty escape to safety. They pieced the document together and it becomes whole again. Mack asks Ty to read it, but he can't understand. Ty shoots out mercury liquid. Ty then explains that Moltor wanted Ty as his crony because Mercurians are powerful. He refuses and the 2 battle. Moltor crushed Ty's crystal and turned him into a monster. Moltor promised to change him back if Ty served him. Because of his betrayal, however, he would surely be destroyed. Mack brings Ty to the basement with the document.

Spencer offers lemonade to Ty, but Ty accidentally spilled it on the document which revealed coordinates to a mountain. Mack and Ty found a diamond. The Sentinel Knight used the jewels to turn Ty back into a human. A village was attacked by Fearcats, old foes of Ty. They were released from an mirror, which Veronica destroyed. Flurious then upgraded them. The rangers, including Tyrone, who became Overdrive Silver, must stop them. Samuel got a sapphire for the crown but lost it to Kamdor.

All the villains were gathered by Thrax, son of Rita and Zedd. Team Overdrive were almost beaten until Mystic Force's Alex, SPD's Richard, Dino Thunder's Kira, Ninja Storm's Victoria, and Zeo and Mighty Morphing's Adam came to the rescue. Sentinel Knight announces that the legendary Rangers will replace Team Overdrive. They told them to cheer up for it is only temporary until the Overdrives have their powers back. Lest they will never have their powers back, Team Overdrive split up for their regular lives, which weren't as exciting as their Ranger lives. Mack finds info on a sword called Excelsior. He finds the sword in a forest held by a statue. Thrax confronts him and tries to take the sword, but he fails. So he summons a monster instead. The legendary rangers fought as hard as they could, but to no avail. Mack convinces the others that they will always be Rangers even without power. With the other Overdrives' help, Mack pulled the sword and the statue grants Mack special armor. Mack runs up to the monster and slays it. The Overdrive and Legendary Rangers fought the Evil Alliance.

Mack was surprised to find out that he was an android. Since then, he questions himself. Tyrone, however, faces his old foe Crazar. Tyrone thought it was safe to get into a cave, but he lost his teammate and his girlfriend, Bella. Ty thought he reunited with Bella, but she told him to forget about being a Ranger. It was Crazar in disguise. She revealed that Bella is still alive.

The Rangers found the Star of Isis. As the Rangers Mira and Kamdor, Kamdor stole star of Isis. The team thought they lost another jewel until Veronica got it back with her superspeed The Rangers destroyed the Fearcats as they struggled to obtain the Octavian Cup. The Rangers perform a ceremony with the Octavian Cup, but Mira intereferes and becomes powerful. After she was defeated, the chalice becomes a golden plate. As Kamdor attacked Veronica and Tyrone, he stole the plate, turns against Mira and traps her in the necklace. Sam fights Kamdor, destroys him and gets the sapphire he lost.

A mummy walk toward Rosaline and gave her a Pink Emerald. As Moltor weakens Flurious told him to sit on a chair, only to destroy him. Flurious and his army invade the mansion and capture Mack. Andrew says Mack is more important and he, as well as the other Rangers, gave Flurious the jewels. The Rangers fought Flurious, but it was no use. Mack takes the challenge of fighting Flurious by merging with Sentinel Knight and with all his might, Flurious was defeated. The Rangers triumph, but it was short-lived because of Mack's sacrifice. Sentinel Knight return to normal and placed the crown on Mack's head to be alive and become human.

The Rangers went their separate ways. Rosaline goes back to teaching. Veronica resumes her racing career. Daxter still works in show business, only to behind the camera instead of in front of it. He became a director. Samuel is training a special team with his work. Tyrone was still searching for Bella until a Yeti named Norg found her. Mackenzie goes exploring with Andrew as father and son.
