Description Step 1:
For this example, I figured I would use my always willing guinea pig, Amber. Because I am more fond of the skin texture, I went with the newly created Genesis 8 Female version.

Step 2: For the clothing, I'm going to use the 'Leather Bodysuit' by Smay (www.daz3d.com/leather-body-sui… ). This technique can be used on just about any clothing design. Load the clothing and select appropriate Auto-Fit setting. In this case, it would be Genesis 3 Female because that's what the suit is originally designed for.

Step 3:
Once the suit loads, I Enable Smoothing and turn the smoothing iterations from 2 to 30. This shapes the suit around the body, in this case making the area around the breasts look a little more realistic and is a case by case setting depending on the clothing, character and even pose. A bit of tweaking is usually involved. I will take care of the skin poking through the suit a little later.

Step 4:
Select surfaces tab and remove all base, Displacement, Normal etc. maps if they are not desired. Leave Diffuse texture, this is the most important map for this technique. Browse for a new Diffuse texture, and copy a map in the folder window that pops up and paste the texture to a new folder where you will save your custom textures to.

Nice lesson! By the way, where to find those shackles you usually use. I'm a daz3d player too. Thanks!

Thank you!
Which shackles are you referring to? I actually use quite a few different ones depending on the image and what I think would look best in the scene.

Those particular ones came with a police officer uniform for G2M. I think that are ok, but I still do not have a set of cuffs that I am completely happy with. Each set has a feature that I like that other ones don't have, but none of them all have the features that I want.

Thanks! Actually I have the same problem with you. Hopefully there will be better props.
