once again nice play on color contrasts, stern stony colors against saturated metals and glass, interesting to have all noble materials in there too; stone, glass, metal, wood
great character, fits the scene
great definition of your perspective with shadows
clear focus point.
as far as cropping, maybe making the upper right corner the point where your lines come from, and trimming a bit of that shadow at the bottom for slight panoramic feel, i think that is more personal opinion than anything else tho... the square shape works for it.
looks great! i love your photography, your gallery is amazing

As much as I love shooting in the wide aspect ratio, I knew even before I had captured this image on camera that it would look best in square format. I guess it was already framed that way in my mind.
Thank you sincerely for taking the time to critique my humble work, it is greatly appreciated.

An end of day, when the light burns beautifully and glimpses through radiant and warml tones.
I've been first seduced by the light, and how you managed to catch it.
Of course a 50 mm and a f4.5 with a 1/160 triggering speed allows perfectly to capture all details of this great scenery.
And that is where the technic end. Because then your eye, vision and sensibility makes this shot absolutely stunning.
You managed to capture an instant so peaceful, of this man, sitting alone and quietly, in his reading. I love the composition: an elegant perspective, emphasized by the shadows, the empty tables, and the street at the background.
The bowls also play their role, nicely. Each detail in this photo makes the whole an harmony where the eyes can stand and focus, read the shot with pleasure.
Khuram: you are an inspiring talented photographer. I really enjoy and you know it your shots, but have to say once again I've been touched by this very beautiful and so human photography. Thx for this feeling Monsieur.

What a beautiful glowing Tea Time you've caught there! If you saw what our bus stations looked like ( & smelled like),Β nobody would even consider having tea here Β Β

Thanks, Julie!Β
And thanks for the heads up on the bus stations on your side of the planet - a planet so graciously granted us by our Feline Overlords to serve them and only.
I'll be sure to avoid those places like one avoids a rabid dog.

Beautiful and interesting light! There are shadows in two directions. There must be something reflecting the sunlight, to the left?!
Love the lines, also!Β

Excellent observation, Niklas!
I believe the light was being reflected off the gold tinted windows of a nearby building.
Dubai's full of ridiculously reflective buildings and skyscrapers!
