Description "Do it with style or don't bother doing it at ALL."

Jazz is Optimus Prime's right-hand man. Unlike Prowl, Prime's military strategist, Jazz responds well to change and improvisation. Whatever surprises the Decepticons spring, Jazz can deal with it. His position as Special Operations head calls for all the skills he possesses, yet he still has time to add some style to everything he does. Jazz's upbeat and outgoing personality makes him one of the most popular Autobots among the Ark's crew. An admirer of Earth music of every kind, Jazz loves culture. More than most other Autobots, he has his finger on the pulse of Earth trends and lingo, effortlessly incorporating human slang into his vocabulary. Chances are, Jazz could tell you the status of almost any reality television show and each week's Top 40 list. Though the war has changed much of his life (he is now a skilled and deadly combatant), two things remain constant: his dedication to the friend who is now also his leader Optimus Prime, and the interest he takes in all facets of culture, wherever his travels lead. On Earth, Jazz has adopted many popular human idioms into his vocabulary, and his fascination with their music has led him to implement speakers that fire a hundred sonic booms per second into his weaponry.

Wow, finally. I did Jazz's pencils years back, but I didn't get around to doing anything else with him till a few weeks ago.

Probably the best Jazz of all time has to be the Generations incarnation, but there's a little bit of each in there. The vehicle colors are based on G1 Jazz. The secondary robot colors (black and white) are based on G1 Jazz, as are his little ear-antenna things. And then I kept the accessories he's all got with him: His blaster, his grappling hook gun that'd make him and Kim Possible a cool team, and a few ninja weapons which are a callback to the Animated Jazz, respectively. Personality-wise, all Jazzes have been pretty much the same, really. He's the cool badass cat with nine lives hangin'.

I originally liked the Reveal the Shield design because it reflects a lot better with a modern look while paying homage to the real classic 1984 Jazz. And it's still a sports car to my opinion.

Up next: KnockOut. Whaddaya expectin', a doctor to come on in?
