Today Chris Chan identifies as a transgender lesbian, though it is speculated that it is not sincere. Chris has even stated that this change is so he/she will appear to all women, whether the like men or women. Chris's mental state has also deteriorated, and at one point there was an "idea guy" feeding into Chris's delusions. At the very least now I will be referring to Chris as she and by the name Christine.

Christine still lives with her mother and makes YouTube videos. Christine begs for money to pay her bills and makes the mortgage company out to be jerks for wanting money. Christine would not be able to care for herself on her own and some believe her mother who appears in videos is in the early stages of dementia. Christine refuses to get a job and any mention of such is met with resistance. Any money donated to them is quickly spent on more toys for Chris or jewelry for Barbra, including a $400 necklace.

Chris also goes to conventions several times a year. The most recent was in June, where she was kicked out for kissing people who asked to have a picture taken. She saw nothing wrong with invading someone's personal space and was offended that others thought so. This shows nothing has been learned in the last ten years.

Chris was a terrible person in many ways. Both the past he and current she have hurt people emotionally and physically. I do not think Chris deserved the level of trolling he got, but at the same time I think he enjoyed it. It satisfied an attention that he craved. We will never know what would've happened had his parents given him the proper care and medication, as well as the education he needed. If you want to learn more there are several podcasts and documentaries both long, short, and full series on Chris Chan. Some people judge him harshly. Others take an impartial approach. Now, the reason I wanted to talk about Chris is several of my friends on DA have forms of autism and social anxieties. They are kind, decent..."normal" people. The fact that Chris is not even in the same category as my friends both fascinates and disgusts me.
