Whoever said with age comes wisdom was not a very smart person. You can live to be 900 and think with your head and not your butt you may not. This past week I witnesses a woman in her 30s be a complete a'hole to a 4 year old who simply asked to go potty. We were singing Jesus Loves Me with them btw.....couldn't make that up if I tried.

I had an emotional break down and cried harder than I have in years in my mom's arms over a rude comment someone made to my face mind you. I asked her if there people ever get to a point where it doesn't hurt as much or people start just leaving you alone. Mama, who just celebrated her 50th birthday back in December, said she'd let me know when it happened to her.

I guess it hurts me more because I would never do that to someone. I always try to imagine the best in people, plus I'm super sensitive. My dad says I sense and carry the emotions of those around me. My heart aches when I know someone I care about is hurting the least bit.

The point I'm trying to make is, maturing in age does mean you gain maturity how you behave. I know a 7 year old, who I'd rather spend my time with, than people my own age simply because she carries herself in a better light.
