Description
As eerily foreseen the day before in a shimmering cup of hot tea (with lots of sugar and cream!), Master Rohan found himself walking down the path to his favorite getaway spot at the shady edge of the treeline of the beach. No training was taking place today, so he greatly looked forward to some quiet sketching and reading alone. But as he walked around a turn near the end of the path, there standing in front of him was the very same shiny, lumpy figure that he had seen the day before!

(trying to talk in a deep voice):"Greetings, wayfaring stranger! I am Hiccup of Rohan. What news bring you from whence you hail?"
(chuckling to himself):" Hiccup.....WHY are YOU wearing MY extra suit of armor???"
:"I told you; I am Hiccup of Rohan. I am on a quest to the ancient city of Dragon's Fire!"
(continues to notice how Hiccup is dressed):"AND I see that you brought my sword Swift Runner AND my dagger Fang AND my shield Rocksteady. (takes another look) And where is my Charmed Helmet of Great Conquest?"
(pointing behind himself): "Oh ---- it fell off back there, and I couldn't bend over to pick it up."
:"Lovely. I spent three years in the Forsaken Mountains of Doom, battling goblins, trolls, and fiends of every type to find the hidden, ancient temple of the arcane elves to acquire that helmet. And NOW, it's lying on a beach..... SOMEWHERE."
: "Yes, fellow adventurer, and if I were you, I'd run and get it before some other adventurer or pirate comes by and snatches it up. When you return, would you like to go on an adventure with me? I have several slots open on my team and could use someone good at wielding swords and axes and other weapons of violence."
(frowns): "Well, Hiccup....I give you points for somehow getting all the way out here in all of that heavy armor, and how you did it I have no clue, but I really need to ---- (Hiccup gives him a sad face with a pouty lip) ---- I --- I --- heck, I'm not doing anything anyway. Let me go find my helmet, and I'll join you on your quest to the city of .....Dragon Spawn."
:"Dragon's Fire."
(nods):"Dragon's Fire."

MEANWHILE, at around the same time on the beach, Snotlout, Tuffnut and Fishlegs are taking a leisurely stroll.

:"Isn't it a beautiful day?"
:"It's hot."
:"I'm bored."
:"Hey guys, look down. See these strange tracks in the sand? I bet that a previously unknown variety of dragon walked along this very beach, and not too long ago!"
(kicks at the grooves in the sand):"Just looks like sand to me."
(pointing ahead): "Look! What's that over there in the sand?"

The three rush over to a shiny object glinting in the sunlight.

(deep gasp): "This looks like ----"
(unimpressedily snatching up the object):"Some old junky helmet. It probably washed ashore during last night's storm."
(curious): "Do you think it's valuable?"
:"Guys, this could be a magically charmed helmet from the ancient Elven Age that endows it's wearer with extraordinary tactical wisdom and strength!"
(puts on helmet): "I don't feel any smarter or stronger."
:"Maybe it has to be activated or something."
:"Do you think that Gobber would trade it for some stuff from his shop?"
:"Trade it?!?"
:"Nah, this is just junk." (chunks the helmet into the water)

AND AT THAT MOMENT....

: "TUFFNUT! NOOOOOOOOO!!!"
:"Oops."
(to Tuffnut):"Nice goin' genius; now you're dead."
" That's where I've seen that helmet before."
:"Tuffnut, you get in that water right now and find my helmet, OR YOU'LL NEVER SEE THE LIGHT DAY AGAIN!!!!"
:"Yes sir, right now sir, as you ask sir!"

Astrid and Ruffnut run up from the opposite direction.

:"Hey, uhm, we just passed by somebody back there that was lurking on a shady path."
:"Whoever it was had fallen over and couldn't seem to get up, but we weren't going anywhere near him because he had this big ole sword."
:"*Gasp* What if it's a cannibalistic Outcast!"
:"Cannibals! On Berk?!?"
:"RUN!"
:"And this is how I spend my days off?"
