Chapter 12 is now live.So, as promised this is the part where we really get to see Charon's past. It's a meaty chapter, honestly. Lot's of history between Setsuna and Charon. I might make you cry in this one. I doubt it, but you will feel something. I really tried to invoke emotion in this one. Let's see how I did.
There is an easter egg here, in this chapter. I LOVE making people do double takes, so I won't reveal it since I will later on in the story. But kudos to you if you do find it.

I simply loved the flow and the background story for these two. So believable and human; I love it. I am beginning to hate Queen Serenity and how childish she is; but it fits. I felt sad for Sailor Jupiter/Venus for the love they lost. And the piece with Hotaru was heartbreaking and powerful.
And the girl Charon met...I think I know her but I can't recall her name. @_@
It's/Its and too/to were mixed up but other than that it was a great chaper. Now Pluto is gonna kick some ass; I'm loving this story. I really am, it's powerful and thought provoking. And it shows that you have to follow your own heart and not what a heirarchy tells you, because they can be wrong. ^^

I still struggle with possessives. But I feel I am more cognizant of them then when I first began, so hopefully they are not to prolific.
This chapter was fun. There was a lot of build up foreshadowing leading to the revelation of their respective pasts. I really painted Queen Serenity as a bad person, but then again she is young and without real parental guidance. Young people make mistakes. And I remove the mystic of how perfect that era was for the canon story.
Having Pluto give birth to Hotaru AT the Door of Time and Space was a really good element to add. That whole internal struggle to make sacrifices for the better good translated really well there. I am glad I could round out that sub-plot found earlier.
And yes, Pluto is going to kick some ass. All her life Charon was the one to shield her. Now it's time to return the favor. ^_^
