Great picture. The background works well, not only because it affords good contrast with the model, but also because of its attractive texturing. It harmonizes with the varied, generally dark floor colors. The choice of a black chair is good, inasmuch as it not only is congruent with the rest of the design ensemble, but also because it serves to create a "sandwich" effect that further accentuates and highlights the model. The pose is very effective: just enough of her eyes and mouth are shown to display her expression of distracted abandon, conveyed by her lean away and against the wall. The tone of the shot is very good, and there is complex shadowing. A Favorite.
