Description
PS: Bruges was a treaty signed between the French and the English in 1375. It was meant to negate hostilites, at least for a while. It failed. (Although it did continue till 1377.)

In October 1380, the time this comic is set, hostilities would have been going again for about 3 years.

A note on the soldiers uniforms: the armies at the time didn't have consistent uniforms as such, but I've pulled references from several old paintings from around the time period. For example, this is from 1241 (a bit early, I know, but I doubt the century turned and they all got rid of their father's armour, etc. When in the middle of a war, I suspect they use anything that works.) It is Gilbert Marshall, an earl of Pembroke.
