Description This is a 256 step Hilbert curve projected as stair steps.  The Hilbert curve is an efficient way to arrange some sequences of things, but *NOT* stairs!  It might be a fun thing to build for a science museum though.  The stairs have to be square if they are all to be the same shape.  They have to be long for the rise, otherwise they'd be too narrow.  And few are in a straight line.  There are only 4 runs of 4 in a straight line in the whole construct, and only 42 runs of 3 in a row.  So this means on most of them, you are pivoting right away to go to the next step, like it is a landing.  You have to pivot on 204 steps, which is 80%!  With all that turning and sharp drops, it would surely need good railings if it was to be built for a science museum.
