Looking down, I couldn't help but feel like I wasn't standing on the pier anymore. Instead, I was floating and below me glistened another world with its untouched oceans, lush lands, and translucent clouds.

If life exists there, I wouldn't know. But, if there is, then let them keep their bliss and let us wonder what it would be like to not have ruined ours.
