Description
These tattered Airwalk shoeswere bought with the intention
that I might grab his attention,
and only I, he would choose.
So, I "windexed" and dusted
those stylish knock-off threads,
the canvas radiating blazing reds
and the straps perfectly adjusted.
With luck, I caught his eye
and captured his desperate heart.
And I thought we'd never part,
for he was forever-ever mine.
But today these shoes are dirty and worn,
thus discovered, he, I never truly loved or adorn.
