Went out to the botanic gardens cos I felt like taking some photos and guess what I find deep inside the garden? Grouse! There was five of them there, and they didn't mind me chasing them (too much) for a shot!
Definitely not what I expected to find when I went out today!

hey there! hate to say but that is a pheasant not a grouse.... but it is one wonderful shot i love thier colours!
the famous grouse is a moorland bird if you fancy tracking one down.... maybe scottland?

I had a photo called that way back in September which was also a grouse, although it wasn't as good as that, you managed to get right up close to the grouse. It could've smiled for the camera though.

Amazing shot! The colours are just so vibrant! Reminds me very much of the adverts!
