We were shooting at Potsdamer Platz and I was trying to find my angle of this impressive building, when +Giles McGarry said it reminds him of Gotham City. I think this is spot on. I took a few exposures with ND Filters, but the dynamic range of the scene was too big. I ended up with a histogram that basically had just two big spikes. Instead of the ND Filters, I used my infrared filter to overcome that problem.Related content

Der Übergang vom schwarz ins grau im Himmel könnte noch harmonischer sein, ansonsten finde ich das Foto richtig gut gelungen
PS: mein monitor ist richtig kalibriert, aber den rapiden Übergang sehe ich nur, wenn ich etwas versetzt auf den Bildschirm gucke.
und wo ich schon von monitoren rede; ich benutze Firefox und bei meinen (wie auch deinen) Fotos wird standartmäßig (fullview) nicht dieselbe Schärfe dargestellt, als wenn man das Foto nochmal mit einem Rechtsklick auf "Grafik anzeigen" seperat öffnet. Ist das bei dir genauso? Ich frag mich nämlich, ob meine Fotos auf anderen Bildschirmen genauso unscharf sind, sonst würde ich sie noch mehr nachschärfen um diesem seltsamen Darstellungseffekt entgegenzuwirken?!

Ich benutze Chrome und auch standardmäßig fullview. dabei sehe ich das ganze Bild, nicht resized, also praktisch genau so, wie wenn ich Grafik anzeigen anklicken würde. Von daher habe ich kein Problem mit der Schärfe.

Hm, tut mir leid, wenn ich dich noch mal störe wegen IR. In wie fern kann der IR Filter für eine gleichmäßigere Belichtung sorgen; versteh ich nicht so ganz.

Der Dynamikumfang ist in IR wesentlich weniger als bei normalem Licht.

Keine Angst. Diesbezüglich denke ich schon, alles weiter sollte im am WE selbst raus finden können, wenn mein IR Filter da ist.
