I understand how they both feel, but they should still be grateful they can both still fly.
Also in a weird way, Sonic could have a different protetial girlfriend with Tails. I think Tails would be REALLY weirded out at first, but may come to think this is not so bad since they have been friends for a while and technically he/she would be Sonic's age or older with the new body from Rouge.

It reminds me of an episode of "The Fairly OddParents" when Cosmo and Wanda make a war of voodoo dolls and finish disarming the body to each other, after that Cosmo and Wanda are rebuilt but with the heads of the wrong body.
