I noticed few of your recent designs lately has crotch gun.

They're all associated with the same upcoming fan-based TRO. In terms of the groin-mounted weapons, think about it this way:
1: If you're not using the entire chassis, you're doing it wrong.
2: A flamer mounted on the torso is a potential problem in terms of having to actually bring the 'Mech's entire upper body to bear on an infantry unit - forcing you to take your focus off of the far more dangerous stompy robots trying to kill you - but having it mounted "below the belt" literally means you don't even have to look at the infantry unit you're toasting - you just turn the legs in the general direction of the target, and let loose while keeping your attention on the bigger enemies.
3: Imagine being the poor sod on the ground with the PBIs, and you watching these 'Mechs that already make you feel insignificant, all but literally pissing fire on your comrades, not even looking at them as they do it. The psychological impact would be pretty severe.
