Brilliant!Β Such a touching depiction of Joseph as a father!Β You rarely see or think of the moments Joseph had as a father with his newborn son.Β With both of my kids, I remember those tender moments with them while my wife was resting and recovering.Β Β

Awww very lovely, I love it. Joseph, in awww Of this child of god, but also his son now. I mean, Joseph was technically his stepfather, but he raised Jesus as his own.

Ohh yes I love the different take on this! Its abit more realistic than anything I have seen before and I must say I was always bothered by "the glowing baby" standart. but this one .. its so very innocent and I feel it fits the entire scene even better

I'm not a Christmas person, much less a religious one. But I must say I just ADORED this picture. I love the athmosphere and how you just drew them like a normal family of the era- no holyness. From the exhausted expression in Maria's face to the innocent look of JosΓΒ©. It really warms my heart seeing him as a father, since in most pictures he is just standing there, doing nothing as if he didn't exist. It's really cute seeing him interact with Jesus. And it's also lovely how you didn't include the light aura arround Jesus' head- it gives a more human and natural feeling to the picture. Just a tired yet happy family.
Im just rambling now. But definitely one of my favourite pictures of all time! Very humane, very appealing, just... Lovely work! <3
