Description
Thank you all for looking. My newly dial-spuned character Selene once again. I wanted her to have a Gal Gadot (Fast Five) type apparece without her really looking like the actress.
This took the longest to render of all my iray renders to date. 4hrs 8min - 35,000 smaples and 98% convergence, Quality setting of 1. Normally I use quality 3 but I turned it down based on advice stating that it would speed things up but in this case it did not. The same number of samples at 2hrs the night before (when both my video cards got dropped by IRay) was 16,000 and when this version hit 2 hrs, it too was at 16,000 samples.

Your 4hrs 8min really worth. You must have a fast system. 4hrs on mine won't get me to clear picture. The paint of the car looks very good!

THank you very much.
The car paint is the one of the Nvidia shaders that come with DS49. Modified of course

Ah, the Lambo, it eludes me... both in real life and as a 3D prop
What video cards do you have?

That's a pretty good pair. I guess all those lights in the scene are what makes it so heavy.
And those 35K samples. Is it worth going that high? I usually don't see any improvement after around 8K.

The first attempt to render this got stopped after 16,000 samples (as Iray dropped back to the CPU only) and looked pretty grainy. THis one is much clearer. I have always found indoor and indirect lighting scenes to take longer to clear up the grain.
