Description
Autodesk Maya 2008Adobe Photoshop CS3
So this was my final project for my Lighting and Texturing class last term. We were given this scene pre-modeled and un-textured and were told to texture and light the scene. We could add to the geometry if we wanted but that's about it. I only added 2 tires, the original only had one. All in all, I think it came out pretty good. I'm sure some people that look at this will recognize the scene since it seems everyone has Blume for this class. (Why we have a written midterm in a Maya class, I'll never know.) Anyway, let me know what you think. This was my first real attempt at texturing and considering I feel my Photoshop skills are somewhat sub-par, I think I did ok.
Lighting and texturing done by me.

The texturing looks great! I would suggest making the cork board above the barrel a bit more worn. It seems to clean compared to everything else.

Lighting seems really dark by the tires. Wall and floor textures are really good. I like it.
Pretty awesome for your first attempt

Thanks. I meant for the lighting to be somewhat dark so yeah, it's got some crazy dark spots. I also comped in an occlusion so it added a little more shadow and darkness to corners and whatnot.

Awesome. I've discovered that usually occlusions make everything look 10 times better. lol

That's really nice! I looks like you put the effort in your textures

Thanks, glad you like it! I even put a spraypainted skull on the work table on the right side. Sadly it's not visible in this render though.
