Description Autodesk Maya 2008
Pixologic Zbrush 3.1
Adobe Photoshop CS3

A model done of Nicholas D. Wolfwood's "Punisher" cross weapon. I thought this would be a nice nod to the character to have it displayed as it is. I haven't watched the entire series but from everything I've seen, he was an awesome character and so this is my tribute.

Done for 's Speed Modeling Competition topic "Fanart." I finished the cross model in about 4 hours, didn't really keep track of the rest sadly. It's been a busy term. As always, comments and critiques are greatly appreciated.

Detail render: Punisher Model 2

Trigun, Nicholas D. Wolfwood and the "Punisher" cross are not mine, just the models, textures and render compositioning.

the effect of the presentation is pretty successful. Still, you ought to consider that right now the actual piece you are presenting, the model itself, is taking up about 20% of the entire image, which some would consider wasteful. You could easily reduce this by making the stand much, much smaller, and consider adjusting the aspect ratio to one that is more friendly to a very vertical object, i suppose

Thanks for the critique. I had a hard time deciding how I was going to render this thing. I did want it in the ground but looking back on it now, I maybe should have just done a longer plane of ground with it stuck in it rather than a little stand. I'll do another render of it I'm sure.

Thanks, it's time consuming but it looks good in the end without having to do zbrush work.
