Description Molly Hayes a.k.a. BRUISER or PRINCESS POWERFUL

Born to two telepathic mutants, members of a criminal gathering called The Pride, Molly Hayes spent her childhood with other runaway teens, trying to stay alive while growing up without parental figures. She was rather happy until her friends Nico and Chase disappeared (captured by Arcade). When she realized other teen heros had disappeared as well she asked the X-men for help. Touched by her innoncence and youth, Pixie decided to act and went looking for Molly's friend, and for her friend Laura who was missing as well. Only Chase came back alive from Murdeworld and he asked the X-men to take care of Molly as he himself was too traumatized to do it. Not used to being schooled or grounded, Molly quickly became the faculty's nightmare as she was acting more and more rebelious and stupborn. Out of respect for Chase, she stayed at the Jean Grey Institute until she was 21. As she was finally ready to live her own life, she met "future Ernst" who informed she was destined to be the leader of the rebellion against Victor Mancha and his army of Ultronites. She convinced her to join the SISTERHOOD to help prevent this future for ever happening.
Through the year, Molly has kept her temper, and has become quite a loner. She keeps her feelings hidden and acts as she does not care for anyone or anything.
Her powers have increased and evolved as she now posseses super strenght, invulnerabity and flight abilities.

She's the wild card of the SISTERHOOD

She is now called... ROGUE!

I've always wondered what the nature of Molly's Β power set given that her parents were telepaths my theory is that her powers are actually psychokinetic(tactile telekinesis if you will) in nature than just plain old super strength.

Awww, sad dark future for Molly! Still, love her taking that code name.Β

thanks for your comment. I too see her as quite the tragic character. even if she's been often pictured as comedy relief

Sadness is at the core of all the Runaways.Β  Still, I'm quite glad that the cannon Arena didn't have that high a body count (I'd have preferred if it had no body count, but that may just be me).Β  Also glad you didn't even go near the "Battle of the Atom" design.Β  'twas a bit generic.

Besides, giving Molly that little cape is just inspired.Β

I thought that this design may have come before Battle of the Atom.Β  I didn't feel like double checking.

Personally, I disliked BotA, and the less I say about Arena, the better.Β  However, I make a point to never begrudge people liking stuff I don't.Β  I love things I know are crap, which helps me remember that good and bad doesn't matter for the things we love.

BotA was a big mess. enjoyable sometimes but rather unnecessary IMHO
