She stood, tears falling silently after hours of torture. Hand in hand, she smiled softly, that perfect smile, as her dad closed his eyes.
Then everything was quiet.
Throughout all the pain, she never noticed her I-Pod went missing.
On top of a soft white pillow it laid that night, and she hesitantly put in the headset and pressed power.

Under it was one song.
She clicked it.
He was at home then, reading a book, and wondered if she was listening to the song he gave her.
