Description
Part of my final submission for my Architectural Design Course (ARCI 311) at Victoria University of Wellington. Main design paper of semester one in third year.Project was to design a (very) big house and this is what i came up with

Renders and presentation done with the Kerkythea render plugin and Photoshop CS5.1.

Not too long actually! hahah i think it was a clay render for just the shadows, glass and water reflection which was about 5mins then a basic colour/material render maybe about 10mins I think. Then two exports from sketchup, one with lines only and one with the material colours (no lines).
Then layered them in photoshop, this way you can change colours/shadows etc independently of the other layers and then just put trees and sky in background and the people. Maybe 45-60mins? Including render times

LOL, yeah, when I was going to school for Drafting and Design, I heard of a kid's project taking something outrageous to render, like a full day.
I mean if you're going into Graphic Design, that's great, but I'm doing 2D models...the class that was for, I don't think I even needed it personally XD
