Wingu- King of the Kigeni pride
- name means cloud
- age: adult, middle aged
- strong, proud, quite, surprisingly gentle with his pride
- was partly blind when he met Lelimaji and has gone blind since then
- due to his coloring and his horrible eye sight, Wingu was neglected as a cub and when old enough he set out on his own. It was hard to fend for himself at first, but he learned and survived, his other senses taking over for his eyes. But he was never social, not wishing to be rejected again. Living a solitary life he came across a sad and broken, pregnant very young lioness, his future mate.
