Riiight. Another HP-character that definitely doesn't get enough love in the fandom (and I'm not talking about Kreacher, although I think he turned out rather lovable).Anyways. Drew this out in pencil, took a photograph (yep, I still don't own a scanner) and did some mediocre photoshop [elements! D:] magic with it.

I would have been happy with Ravenclaw as well, but when Pottermore sorted me into Slytherin I was literally over the moon.

I, uh, wrapped him up in pink paper and gave him as a birthday present to my friend when she came of age. But that was a couple of years ago; he should have escaped by now... I think.

Wow, you've drawn one of my favorite secondary characters and done an amazing job! I found the story of Regulus' sacrifice to be very poignant. I felt sad that Sirius did not live to hear the real story that his younger brother was brave, and not some stupid kid who was killed because he had second thoughts about joining the Death Eaters. I love the murky tones and the expression on his face. He knows that he is going to die but he is determined and I love that he is giving a last reassuring hug to Kreacher.

I agree; out of all the characters who gave their life to defeat Voldemort throughout the story, Regulus' sacrifice really stands out. He lied to his family to spare their feelings and he died knowing that for years and years to come, the people he did it for would think badly of him. What he did was just incredibly brave. Which is why I hate that apparently it wasn't cool enough for the movie. D:

Well, at least he is with Kreacher ... who probably doesn't quite understand yet what is about to happen. For a boy of his age he certainly was very brave.

oh, I didn't know they cut that awesome story off the movies, it's indeed a pity,... it's such a heart-breaking story... it always breaks my heart when Kreacher tells this story to the trio... Regulus, like Snape, was really, really brave when it came to try and bring Voldemort down...
