TA-DA!!!
After MONTHS of her being a WIP (due to fabric being on back order, interfacing running out, etc.), she's FINALLY done! And I could not be happier!
Those crystals were awful! D: Oddly enough, it was the satin diamonds that were the easiest! I expected them to be the most difficult! Those rhinestones, though...Word to the wise: TEST ON SCRAPS, TEST ON SCRAPS, TEST ON SCRAPS!!! I was having a horrible time trying to get them to stick, and therefore I was frustrated, and I suddenly got a new idea to test it. In my excitement, I didn't think clearly and forgot to put my iron-cloth-layer between my iron and the minky and...well...I melted her first mane. >.> BUT! The rhinestones stuck! So I re-made her mane with the new method (using my iron-cloth-layer, of course) and they're stuck so well that a few of them that I NEEDED to pick off wouldn't budge, so I had to sew around them!
Anyway, on to the professional stuff...
Rarity is made from white, purple, mauve, and violet minky. She is machine sewn with hand-sewn parts and hand-embroidered with machine embroidery in her mane and tail. Her mane and tail contain blue satin appliqued using Heat-N-Bond Lite and iron-on rhinestones. She is stuffed with polyester stuffing. She contains a white-satin pouch that will hold a 5x7" piece of cardboard. She has felt 3D eyelashes as well as embroidered eyelashes. She is a commission and not for sale.
Ugh. So sparkly.
For all of the trouble she gave me, I'm really happy with how she turned out. A little in love with her mane and tail.

NOTE: I forgot to mention! For the first time ever for my Rarity plushies, her mane and tail contain NO wire! All of the curls are done solely with sewing and cutting!

EDIT: I completely forgot to do her Element of Harmony last night! So, sorry for the delay, but the photo of her with her element has been added on the right (and the photo is now asymmetrical and driving me nuts). The element is made from minky with machine embroidery and it hand-sewn. It has a wire ironed on with interfacing that can be wrapped around her neck and unwrapped to hold it in place.
