A Wolf Like Me

A few weeks had passed since Oruz witnessed the big scene that the Gray Damsel had done in order to gain the compassion of a Valerian and enter their land. And still he didn't know why. She so willingly ripped her shoulder open, and for her to do such a thing then her reasons must really be good. Eh, or not, these wolves were all crazy, that's what made them so hard for him, a superior individual, to understand.
Though that twisted logic didn't help ease down his curiosity in the slightest. It only grew and almost dangerously so.
He had recently attacked another wolf who he had mistaken for her, but this time he made sure to better calculate his approach. Of course he never acknowledged the mistake as his own and instead blamed the target for the incident, regardless, this time he made sure to rest enough to catch up for the nights and days he spent stalking this gray she-wolf and now he was ready.
