Awesome !
I'm wondering, we really can see the skin details in the normal map then ? Because when I do a normal map from a high poly ( with xNormals for example ) and when I import it in the Engine ( UDK for example ) the details just disapear...

Well, depending on the size of your map, a 2048 for example, will be automaticly scaled down to a 1024 if you don't change some settings.
And when I baked this high res model on my low res, yes I lost pretty much 50% of the pores n stuff. it sucks but I think I would have to bake it on a bigger texture size then reduce it / sharpen it.

Ok thanks. Sometimes the high poly is only useful to have the base difffuse I guess. ^^

Well in my opinion 60% of a character comes from the high poly, so if your high poly looks good, the low res will.
