Description
As requested.
Anatomy shoulder area tutorial, dos and don'ts.
Edit: added different kinds of common stiffness.
Edit 2: this tutorial only serves your conceptual purpose, showing you what is the correct base to use for construction.
How to use this tutorial: Start by applying the base shown in the tutorial, keep the moveable parts of the shoulders in mind when you practice.
What this tutorial will not do:
- It doesn't help you with proportional/perspective problems comes with using the construction.
-it won't improve your skill unless you go and find more references and practice.
See: for general anatomy references and tutorials.

HOLY CRAP, it's been so long since I've commented on anything of yours, and the first thing I go for is a tutorial xD
Seriously though, I love how you make tutorials even for the smallest of details (fffff like your eye compendium ). This has been a great help, especially since I'm still very much anatomy-challenged. :0

this will prolly not help anyone who isent willing to study lifedrawing.wich ironicly is most of everyone.
and then you dont even need these tutorials to begin with.
this is incredibly technical. and should be taken with a grain of salt as to most of the content is true! its also biased by an artist who made it. so in conclusion become as good as this, so you dont have to read these tutorials, study life join art classes they are open for the masses for little fee.
"CROQUISE" is the word you should be asking for.

I did this for someone who's asking about what i mean is stiff shoulders, so here it is. XD
Gotta give it a category. Of course, nothing replaces real training.

I couldn't quite grasp what you were trying to explain, well sort of but I wanted to try what you were explaining, but I'm drawing a female body for the picture I'm drawing. So I searched up a female skeleton, and I have to say, some of the body structure is starting to make more sense.

lol
At the start, I thought the "mannikin stiffness" was the "good drawing".
You almost had me taking notes on direct connecting and straight lines XD

this is really good. It brakes down what I have been seeing in people. It will really help when drawing the human body by memory again I'm sure ^.^!

that's cool! I feel better about my art now, wasn't sure what you were talking about first, but I think I have this aspect covered.
Although... I don't totally agree with the 2 eggs for the head thing... but I guess it works well enough.

I didn't really get much out of this to help me work on shoulders :/ The movement with the shoulder blade makes more sense but I don't feel like I got any reference as to how I can improve my drawing method.
Not that i'd ask you to do a whole 'nother tutorial or anything... >_>
