I downloaded a template for stamps ... haven't gotten around to making one yet though, was really busy for like a week with a project for an art contest.. so, I wanted to enter, and since I felt photo manips weren't allowed, I used poser.. and, got to learn a few things about the program in the process
which animation program do you use?
I've got the companion one for paintshop pro ... I love love LOVED Ulead GIF animator, but .. for some strange reason, can't seem to get it to work on the new pc .. *shrug* ah well, the other one works just as nicely

I suck at trying to get photoshop to animate
I can get it to show me the frames, but when I save everything as a .gif image ... it just sits there like a stale bottle of beer

Wich version did you use? I think you must save it as optimized version...then you save the whole animation

I always optimize first, for smaller file size ... but, maybe that's where I went wrong?
I optimize, then save as a .gif file... but, still only shows the first frame ? O.o
I've tried doing this with photoshop 7, cs2 and cs3 and still get same results ...

yeah that moves no worries .. it just stands still after saving as if those frames aren't even there..
maybe I need to highlight all the frames when saving?

no you don't need to highlight them...in CS3 you must save it for Web...i use CS3 too and i don't have some problems 
I must go to bed now but if it not work tomorrow i can send you a psd file from one of my animations.
