It's been a while since I last uploaded any pics of my newest prop creations. But here is my latest and (possibly) greatest in a long time: The Infinity Gauntlet!
The base of the gauntlet consists of a left-handed leather glove attached to a crap ton of cardboard. The rivets that you see are little BB's from my BB gun glued on. The metallic look comes from endless hours of peeling and pasting on mental tape. The entirety of the gauntlet is painted chrome gold spray paint with a brush of flat black spray paint to give it the impression that it is an aged gauntlet. And of course, the Infinity Stones: they are comprised of stacked layers of colored glass, fit into a shape that is mostly rounded. Some of the stones are colored glass, such as the green, purple, and blue ones, but the yellow, red, and orange ones are actually clear glass colored using sharpies (side note: the orange stone is actually mostly pieces of an orange retro reflector with a piece of clear glass colored orange on the top).

This thing is positively gorgeous. The normal gauntlet before the stones looked cool already because of the amount of detail, but it was the stones themselves that really made this piece sing.
