“What? Pshh…that’s ridiculous. I’ve never…”

“Yeaaa! Ice cream!”

Lily kept silent as the excitable young girl ran off, mom swinging in her hand. Instead of slowing to a reasonable walk when admonished, Amber’s daughter switched to skipping, which looked to make Amber’s mean of transportation all the more turbulent.

“Sheesh, those two are such troublemakers I swear. Now little one, why don’t you tell me your name. I don’t see your guardian around, why are you standing here all by your lonesome?”

“Oh, I don’t have a guardian. I’m a reporter for Size Affairs Magazine.”

“A reporter huh? I see you like to pretend having big girl responsibilities like little Amber does.”

“I’m not pretending! I really am a reporter. I shrink to different sizes and do stories on all classes of shrinkees”

“Did you say you change sizes?”

“I did. I have the rare -O blood type. It keeps the virus dormant in me and it can be reactivated and reversed with a pulse chamber.”

“HAHAHA! Oh, this is too much. You have such an imagination! I could just eat you up. Go ahead and grow then sweetie, become as big as a whole house!”

“Well… I can’t just do it at will and I couldn’t become as big as a house, that would be ridiculous. I can get back to my original size before I became a shrinkee but for that I need to be inside the pulse chamber and even then its kind of an all day thing… hey what are you doing???”
