Oh, very much so. That artist did an awesome job of Bee, and I wanted to do something along those lines for a very long time.

I can't completely comprehend what you want the ultimate version of Bee to appear like, but I think you'll find it if you keep playing with the proportions.

Right now the proportions you use aren't much far off from this, so I think you're on the right track.

For the longest time, I had drawn Bee as seen in the middle of this drawing: :thumb404267728:

But for the last 6-7 years, as I've been trying to get my drawings better, I've been drawing her more or less the way she looks on the right.

I'm sure I'll get her looking right again.
