Description
This is from before temperatures fell of a cliff. I've seen an influx of rose chafers and picked the most colourful out of the bunch. So here is Cetonia aurata, which is the most common species, that was there, but none of the others were this vibrant. The female is golden, which is about what you'd expect, considering its latin name literally means golden and the male is even more spectacular with that red colouration.
