Description
I wanted to try papercutting. I didn't have much supplies, so I used stuff like old newspapers, the cardboard backsheet of a spiral-bound notepad and golden tinfoil chocolate wrapping xD. But it was fun, so I might do some more of these in the future. We shall see ...
Test subject was of course Ratho (I'm a little obsessed with this character at the moment, can't help it).
Divide and Conquer is a military strategy (and an algorithm design paradigm), but for some reason I think it also fits papercutting very well, since you have to divide stuff into lots of smaller parts ...

I decided to comment on this work ! What attracted my attention was the fact that this is something what you probably can touch (not a painting, drawing, photograph). I also like this character you created. He looks a bit dangerous and elegant.

Thank you <3
Yes, papercraft has a lot of touch-related aspects, especially if one uses different materials (like the tinfoil and such) or textured paper.
Dangerous is definitely what I was going for, so I'm happy to hear that it worked out
