While on tour on the continant, I noticed there were a great deal more wind farms spread over mainland Europe then in the UK. I cannot understand this. Why do we not embrace this way of powering the world? What possible argument could alternative fossil fuel or neucler power stations have over some thing like this? They power our homes, they require minimal maintanence, and they make great photo subjects...I'll get down off my high horse now. I'm having a rampant filled day.

It's great. Great fog, I love how all the windmills are rather silhoutted. My favorite part probably is the banner. This makes me feel like I'm watching a video of the Hindenburg.

The drops of rain on the glass in front of the camera are a nice extra. Photographed from a car perhaps?

lovely shot...I wanted to visit a large wind farm while on vacation throughout the U.S.A...never got around to it tho....I always admire this form of energy.....it seems to convey a dark, sort of stormy atmosphere...it's beautiful

Yep, it's real. I took the picture from the window of a moving coach, and some crap on the seat was showing on the glass. The whole piece looked shite untill I stripped all the colours away from it.
