I found out the Speed's famous line from ES was actually a reference to a Dragon Ball parody episode line that Goku said. Now that I think about it, Speed kinda did act like Goku at the beginning of the series, didn't he?Original like to video here:

I watched dragon Ball z after reading this comic (where speedy is injured, and pearls taking care of him) and could only think to myself, "Huh, this seems oddly familiar..."
