A fell wind briefly blew, sending a chill down everyone's spine; I knew it wasn't the cold that did this. From the dark, still waters, something massive began to rise from the water. A massive shape was now sillouhetted against the dark sky. We watched in horror as a giant out of our worst nightmares unfurled its leathery wings, and in an ominous voice unheard since the dawn of man, let slip an unearthly shriek from its tentacled maw..."
